Frequently asked questions

All frequently asked questions

What happens in the first session?

We do a full 90-minute intake: history, habits and life context, to understand the root of the discomfort and design an initial personalised plan.

Does this replace my doctor?

No. We complement conventional medicine, not replace it — we go where an answer hasn't been found yet.

Where do the sessions take place?

100% online, by video call, from anywhere in the world.

What do I need to do before the first session?

Book and pay for the session, then download, fill in and sign the informed consent form, sending it to quim@ayzaclinic.com before the appointment.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

The first late cancellation or reschedule is waived at no cost. From the second onwards, the usual conditions apply — see the full cancellation and booking policy.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on each case. After the first visit I'll suggest a plan with 45-minute follow-up sessions as needed; a pack of 4 follow-up sessions is also available.

What languages is the practice available in?

Catalan, Spanish, English and German — choose whichever you're most comfortable with.

Is my health data protected?

Yes. The informed consent form and any health data are handled according to the privacy policy, with GDPR safeguards.

Can I talk to you before booking?

Yes, write to me at quim@ayzaclinic.com and we can go over any questions first.

What exactly is Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology?

The discipline that looks for the biological root of chronic discomfort — not just treating the symptom — by integrating the nervous, endocrine and immune systems.

Who runs my sessions?

I run every session myself, first visit and follow-up alike, with no intermediaries.

How can I pay for the session?

Payment is made at the time of booking, directly through the booking calendar.
